I agree that the netting goes with the them perfectly, so maybe netting at the joins transitioning into another stitch. Love it.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14063083454796458172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6284884316719285197.post-85299664608445275682010-01-14T01:04:33.712-06:002010-01-14T01:04:33.712-06:00Kill me, but I like the first one most. Just perfect colors for my liking ;) And a fringe... What about weaving a separate strand of pearls in and out of the netting for accent? I'm sure it will turn out wonderful whatever you decide to do. Good luck in the challenge!WTF Storehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07263314251703492801noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6284884316719285197.post-33200487251343751982010-01-13T20:11:50.528-06:002010-01-13T20:11:50.528-06:00I would go a a more substantial "strap" ...I would go a a more substantial "strap" or band but also maybe one that varies in, say, width. You could do a tighter netting in various bead sizes - or maybe RAW? Maybe free-form?

Patricia C Vener
http://vener-art.com/beadblog/Patricia C Venerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13780981080999105172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6284884316719285197.post-45121426463829678672010-01-13T20:11:37.819-06:002010-01-13T20:11:37.819-06:00Your piece is already a winner, Marsha! I love ammonites and the heart shape is perfect and very original.

About how to finish it, I would suggest the pearl spiral stitch, although I love netting as well. The pearls would balance better the focal. I cannot wait to see it done.

ileana
http://ileanasmagicaltime.blogspot.com/
http://enchantedbeads.blogspot.com/Enchanted Beadshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08477206245899385236noreply@blogger.com
